Annual International Cultural Exchange Project with Cheng Kung University

by | Jul 10, 2023 | Art in the Hall, Hall News

Fearon Hall is delighted to once again act as UK host for the annual international cultural exchange project with Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. On July 17th , art students from Taiwan will be arriving with us. This year’s project will focus on Fearon Hall and the Old Rectory Museum, exploring these as sites of memory, responding to the ways in which past and present imprint themselves on and within a building. Professor Martyn Bennett is generously giving of his time this Summer to share his in-depth knowledge of the Old Rectory building with the students. The students will work with local  artists responding in a variety of ways  to what they discover. An exciting Summer to come. We will be sharing our activities with you.
