Our goal is to empower undeserved communities by providing them with the essential resources and skills to address health and wellness issues. Through our services, we strive to improve the well-being of individuals and communities.
Communities Food and Wellbeing Hub (CFWH) was set up to support diverse communities in need through these challenging times that the cost of living crisis has brought. Our hubs of food, health and wellbeing support for individuals, offer holistic interactive wellbeing sessions, school holiday hunger family packages and access to professional support for those living with chronic disease such as diabetes. Facilitators include doctors to optimise health and wellbeing content, social prescribers, community professionals, and volunteers who share up to date advice on budgeting, resources and signposting to relevant services.
Our primary objective as a charity is to provide services of a public benefit by relieving poverty, promoting health and education among communities in the City of Leicester and Leicestershire.
