As part of the Loughborough Pride 2025 Celebrations, we were delighted to have been part of the creation of the Loughborough Pride Blanket. Through our workshops at Fearon Hall and the many other contributors throughout the town we were able to help create this wonderful blanket which was revealed at the Loughborough Pride Picnic in the Park on Saturday 16th August. With more than 170 brilliant individual artworks, the completed blanket was truly amazing. Huge thanks to our resident Arts Coordinator and Curator Jacqui for painstakingly sewing it all together.
Through making, people shared so many messages of love, kindness and inclusion. In this Radio Leicester broadcast on BBC Sounds you can listen to our Arts Facilitator Harry introduce the idea of the blanket and hear three of our lovely Fearon Hall participants share their reasons for getting involved with the blanket.
Big love and compliments to everyone involved – you should all be truly proud of yourselves.
