A creative theatre workshop for carers.
This applied theatre workshop is designed to support participants in caring for others and for themselves and will introduce a variety of simple creative techniques and tools derived from dance, music and theatre, which can be used every day by caregivers.
Playing Care is led by Korina Kokkali and Simon Gleave, who together make up the performance company, JEUDi. The workshop emerged from their personal experiences learning how to care for a family member with Dementia and Parkinson’s, alongside a sustained consultation with experts in the crossovers between care and creative work.
There will be a 40 minute break for lunch.

JEUDi is an international theatre-dance company working regularly in the UK and Greece, which creates playful performances, research and education projects.

Situated in the Main Hall, our welcoming and friendly community café is the heartbeat of Fearon Hall and is a central focus for visitors during Hall opening times.
Open Tuesday to Friday, 9.00am to 2.00pm for breakfast goodies, lunches, light refreshments, yummy homemade bakes and treats and a selection of hot and cold drinks, to eat in or takeaway.
It’s good food, doing good. With everything cooked from fresh ingredients in the Hall kitchen and all diets catered for with vegetarian and vegan options too. And of course, every penny you spend is reinvested back into providing community activities at the Hall.
