Outdoor Spaces

Fearon Hall is situated within a conservation area and we are fortunate to benefit from a number of green spaces which surround our historic home. Whether it’s gardening, exercise or relaxation, the benefits of the outdoors on mental and physical health is well known and we work closely with our community partners to organise and promote as many outdoor activities as possible.

Parish Green

The Parish Green is a lovely open space between Fearon Hall and All Saints with Holy Trinity Parish Church. Under the stewarship of the Parish Green Partnership to which we belong, it has open public access but is also available for use as a breakout space from the Hall for community events. It is home to our annual Fete on the Green which we run in conjunction with All Saints.

Community Garden

Our small enclosed community garden is accessible via the Main Hall and is kept in tip top shape by our garden fairy volunteers. As well as providing a breakout space for our café, it is a safe space for community gardening and growing activities.

Rectory Wildlife Garden

The Rectory Wildlife Garden is situated at the back of Fearon Hall. It is a community resource for protecting and promoting wildlife and encouraging biodiversity whilst enabling gardening, sustainable living and positive community interaction. The Rectory Wildlife Gardeners are one of our community partners and plans are afoot to build a better physical connection with the Hall. Find out more about the exciting plans here.
