Activities and Bookings Manager

In line with the Government roadmap out of lockdown we’re delighted to announce that we are open for room hire and bookings for your Covid compliant event or activity 🙂

Room hire is available for your groups and gatherings, contact us now so that you are not disappointed or take a look at our available spaces here. Remember your room hire means that Fearon Hall can continue offering discounted community activities to the people who need us the most.

It has been lonely since the start of 2021, we all did as we were told and stayed home.  We worked from home and left Fearon Hall alone during January & February, only popping in to check everything was ok.  The Coronavirus pandemic has been around for much longer than any of us expected, but the vaccine rollout is progressing swiftly and lockdown is beginning to lift gradually. As Loughborough enters what will become our new normal we are excited to welcome you back to Fearon Hall from today – the April 12.  It has been a hard few months for us all, for very different reasons, but we do hope that this next stage is a light at the end of the tunnel.

We have been planning lots during this time, planning how we can get back to normal and be safe, planning to make things special for you.  We need to take things slowly to remain safe as lockdown eases, whilst keeping positive and focusing on mental & physical wellbeing.  We all want to help each other and see Fearon Hall and our community back on their feet, and the best way to do this is by following social distancing, wearing a face covering when moving around and keep washing hands, but do come out, do visit us, as our mental health needs to meet people again and we need to start enjoying life.

We will continue our stringent cleaning regime with increased frequency of cleaning and sanitising throughout the kitchen, the café area and the whole of Fearon Hall including the washrooms.

All our staff & volunteers have received lots of information during the pandemic and all must report symptoms of illness to the Hall Manager and follow the isolation protocol if they become ill. The Hall is equipped with a digital thermometer for everyone to use when entering the building and hand sanitizer is available at every door.  Please do not visit us if you are feeling unwell, but we would love to see you if you are tickety boo as we have missed you. You can read more about what to expect when visiting the Hall here.

Hire the Hall and change lives

By booking your event or meeting at our venue you will be helping us to support the less fortunate in our community. For more details on how your booking can make a difference read here.

Café in the Hall

Please note that our Café in the Hall is not yet open. From May 17 will have new opening times and a new menu. We won’t be operating quite at full capacity for a few weeks until we get everything settled and we will be providing table service only to limit cross contamination. We do hope that you will pop along to support us. We’ll make a further announcement about the Café soon.

We’re looking forward to seeing you over the coming weeks.  We do ask that you remain as safe as possible, only come out if you feel ready but remember you can now enjoy the fantastic Fearon Hall again after the Easter holiday. We are waiting for you.
